Chamber office, (217) 342-4147 “I wish I had brought my whole staff to hear this.” – Attendee, Lincoln, NE, September 2015 Why You’re Not Getting the Sale could be considered “Sales for Non-Salespeople,” but even seasoned sales pros will be taking notes. This is not a rah-rah session to get you fired up for a few hours to do sales, but an entertaining, straightforward approach to equip you for your career. By the end of the session, you will understand these points and know how to act on them: • Your prospect is motivated by fear that this won’t turn out well; • Your prospects make decisions the same way we all do; • You can only make a sale if people believe you will come through; • Both personal and corporate credibility matter; • Networking and pricing affect your sales; • There are deliberate, practical ways to raise your own image in the eyes of the prospect as a reliable provider. Matt also has hands-on experience in event management, having worked professionally with the Formula One race and dozens of other events. His work has taken him to more than 25 countries. His clients include corporations of all sizes, meetings and conferences, marathons, music festivals, amateur and professional golf events, sixteen Final Four basketball tournaments, five Super Bowls and much more, including both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. He has learned a couple of things about business and really likes to help others get better at their jobs. Date and Time
